Zied Tayeb's (CEO & Co-Founder of MyelinH) mother suffers from multiple sclerosis (MS), an incurable neurodegenerative disease.
That’s why, Zied decided to start a Ph.D. in neuroengineering not just to understand how the brain and body function, but to be able one day to build a medical device that can diagnose any diseases, anywhere, anytime regardless of the patient’s location. He first developed an open-source software Gumpy for brain-computer interfaces.
During this unprecedented health crisis, MyelinH team further recognized the tremendous potential of advancing such software innovation and use it for diagnosing and predicting different diseases and pandemics, such as COVID-19.
Inspired by this idea, the team has been working together, towards building a revolutionary software platform for early-stage medical diagnosis and remote health monitoring."
